To build a strong sense of ownership, the Academy will place great importance on encouraging pupils to have a voice in helping to shape the Academy’s development. This will lead to a stronger culture at the Academy and better outcomes for pupils.
The Academy wants pupils to be actively involved in the life and development of the Academy and encourages them to take responsibility, show initiative and develop leadership skills.
Academy and Year Councils meet regularly with Senior Leadership and the Governing Body. They also form an integral part of the recruitment process for new staff to the Academy.
