I am delighted to welcome you to The Mirus Academy.

In partnership with our Sponsor, Walsall College, our aim is to create an ambitious and inspirational Academy within which pupils from the age of three to eighteen years old and beyond learn and flourish.

Our specialism in the Creative Industries also plays a key role in this, raising standards and driving a curriculum that engages young people and inspires them to learn.  At The Mirus Academy we will be shaping a new and dynamic approach to teaching and learning; an approach which will drive achievement and underpin educational and life-long learning opportunities for our pupils and also for staff, parents/carers, and the wider community. The Academy specialism of the Creative Industries plays a major role in this, raising standards and providing innovative and personalised learning opportunities.

Our vision is for learning opportunities and education provision of the highest quality from the early years through to further and higher education and the world of work.  We place strong emphasis on partnerships with parents, the community, the Children’s Centre, other local schools, and employers.

We will enable our pupils to develop the courage, curiosity, and creativity to succeed and, as they learn and develop, they will be encouraged and supported to raise their aspirations without boundaries.

We have a great deal to offer our community and look forward to working with you to ensure that, together, we make a real difference to the life chances of our pupils.
